REMPLAN Economy
REMPLAN Economy provides detailed insights into the structure and dynamics of your selected region. It contains data on jobs, output, wages, and value-added by industry, enabling users to understand economic contributions and inter-industry linkages. It also has tools to facilitate investment analysis, impact assessments, and exploring specific regional business data from ABR uploads.

Overview
Provides a brief economic overview of the selected region together with information on the sources of data used to build the economic model.
Reports
Allows the user to select a range of economic reports on the selected region.
The reports tab provides insights into how the economy operates, featuring key reports such as output, employment, regional exports and imports, value-added, and local expenditure.
Matrices
Provides access to the detailed economic model (input output table) which REMPLAN have developed and which ‘drives’ the software
Gap Analysis
Analyses imports in the user’s economy not supplied locally to identify the gaps and import opportunities in the local supply chains.
Reports are available for expenditure breakdown, domestic import, and domestic import relevant to jobs are provided.
Impacts
Allows the user to estimate the overall impact of a direct change in the local economy, either in jobs or output.
Tourism
Provides estimates of the value of tourism activity to the local economy, and
Allows for tourism impact scenarios to be modelled.
Workforce
Provides insights into the workforce, both those who work in the region and those who live in the region.
Travel patterns of the incoming and outgoing workforce are shown including maps.
Reports are available for age, level of education, weekly income, occupation, method of travel to work, LGA of usual residence, LGA of usual work, and language.
Business (eligible government clients only)
Allows users to upload ABR data which is then sorted and geocoded.
Individual businesses can be identified down to a 4/5 digit ANZSIC code level
REMPLAN Community
REMPLAN Community focuses on the social and demographic characteristics of local populations. It integrates data on population, age, education, employment, housing, and disadvantage indicators to build a comprehensive community overview. Key tools available in Community includes travel time calculation and impact analysis.
Community Features
Regions (Travel Time Region)
In the region tab, you can create a travel time region to measure travel by car, bicycle, foot, or public transport departing from or arriving at a specific location within a given time limit to determine the area of travel that can be reached.
Reports are available for the travel time region specifically.
Travel time regions determine the geographical boundary of that reachable area and the differences in coverage based on transport mode.

Population
Provides insights into the population, based on age, birthplace, Indigenous status, citizenship, ancestry, and language.

Migration and Mobility
Provides insights into the migration and mobility based on census night of those who live, counted, and work in region.
Reports are available for usual address on census night, usual address, household mobility, LGA of usual residence, SA2 of usual residence, and year of arrival.
Families and Households
Provides insights into the families and household numbers, based on person, children, and other reports.
Data is sourced from the ABS census data for live in region, counted in region, and work in region.
Education
Provides insights into the education in the region, based on school completion reports, qualifications, attendance, status, and study field.
Data is sourced from the ABS census data for live in region, counted in region, and work in region.
Work
Provides insights into the workforce, both those who work in the region and those who live in the region.
Reports on labour force status, employment type, industry of employment, occupation, method of travel, hours worked, voluntary work, and more.
Housing
Provides insights into the housing, based on dwelling type, structure, people per dwelling, bedroom count, location, ownership, and more.
Data is sourced from the ABS census data for counted in region and work in region.
Health and Wellbeing
Provides insights into the health and wellbeing of those counted in the region on census night.
Reports include youth engagement, SEIFA disadvantage scores, need for assistance, health conditions, income, and number of vehicles.
Impacts
Reports on population change by age, dwelling type, dwelling number, and working residents.
Reports on housing change by age, dwelling type, dwelling number, and working residents.
REMPLAN Forecast
REMPLAN Forecast projects future trends in population and employment across regions, supporting long-term planning and scenario analysis. Using advanced modelling techniques, it estimates industry-level employment changes and demographic shifts, focusing on population, household, dwelling, and land supply forecast trends.
