Before you start
This guide is for the person coordinating the switch for your organisation, usually an account administrator or IT contact, not individual REMPLAN users.
Single Sign-On (SSO) lets your team sign in to REMPLAN using your organisation's Microsoft work account, instead of a separate REMPLAN password.
You'll need any internal approval your organisation requires, and your IT team's help to confirm your Microsoft setup.
Important: Once SSO is turned on, REMPLAN passwords stop working for everyone in your organisation. Plan how you'll tell your team before the switch happens, so no one is caught out.
How to switch your organisation to SSO
Get any internal approval your organisation needs before you request the switch.
Email the REMPLAN support team at [email protected] to request SSO for your organisation's REMPLAN subscription.
REMPLAN links your organisation's email domain to your REMPLAN account. If this can't be done automatically, REMPLAN may ask your IT administrator for your organisation's Microsoft Entra Tenant ID.
Decide when SSO will take effect, and tell your team about the change beforehand. See Notify your users below for what to include.
REMPLAN turns on SSO for your organisation and notifies your existing users of the change and how to sign in with SSO.
Your users complete their first SSO sign-in. Point them to First Time Logging In With Single Sign-On.
Notify your users
Before SSO takes effect, tell your team:
when SSO will take effect
that REMPLAN password sign-in will no longer work
that they'll need to select the Microsoft sign-in option instead
who to contact if they have trouble signing in
What happens next
Once SSO is turned on, REMPLAN passwords stop working for your organisation. Everyone signs in with their Microsoft account from then on. See First Time Logging In With SSO for the day-to-day login process.
Troubleshooting
Issue: REMPLAN can't link our email domain automatically.
What to check: REMPLAN may ask your IT administrator for your organisation's Microsoft Entra Tenant ID. Provide this to REMPLAN support to continue.
Issue: A user can't sign in after SSO is turned on.
What to check: Confirm they're using their organisation's Microsoft work account, not their old REMPLAN password. Point them to First Time Logging In With SSO. Contact REMPLAN support if the problem continues.
Availability and access
This process is for account administrators or IT contacts coordinating REMPLAN access for their organisation. Individual users don't need to do this themselves. REMPLAN and your IT team handle the switch, then each user follows First Time Logging In With SSO.
FAQ
What information does REMPLAN need to set up SSO?
Usually just your organisation's email domain. If that can't be used automatically, REMPLAN may ask for your Microsoft Entra Tenant ID.
Will our users lose access to their REMPLAN data when we switch?
No. SSO links each user's existing REMPLAN account to their Microsoft account, so they keep the same data and access.
